NC NAACP appealing decision to uphold NC’s Voter ID law

RALEIGH, N.C. – Attorneys for the North Carolina NAACP are appealing a decision upholding North Carolina’s Voter ID law.

Last month, a U.S. District judge set aside arguments that the 2018 law was passed with discriminatory intent against Black and Latino voters.

Republican senate leader Phil Berger said the judge’s decision, put to rest any doubt that the state’s Voter ID Law is constitutional.
