First phase of Catawba Two Kings Casino opens Wednesday in Kings Mountain

KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. – The first phase of the new Catawba Two Kings Casino will open in Kings Mountain on Wednesday. This phase will feature 1,300 slot machines, electronic and traditional table games, and sports betting kiosks, along with a restaurant and bar.

It replaces the temporary casino that opened in 2021. The full casino complex is projected to open next spring. It will feature a 24-story hotel with 11 restaurants and 4,300 slot machines.
