28-year-old man charged in murder of 16-year-old in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An arrest in the murder of a 16-year-old in north Charlotte.

Police tracked down the suspect, 28-year-old Taquawn Lewis, Thursday in Rutherford County.

Lewis is charged with first degree murder in the shooting of Joseph Samuel. Samuel was shot and killed Tuesday on a cut-through path off Tom Hunter Road.
