One person dies after wreck involving CMPD cruiser

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One of four people who were hurt in a crash involving a CMPD cruiser in south Charlotte has died.

The accident happened at the intersection of Carmel and Pineville-Matthews Roads around 3 in the morning on April 21st.

The officer is on paid administrative assignment pending the outcome of the investigation, which is standard procedure.
