Charlotte City Council to host public hearing on Tuesday on possible moratorium on data centers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – You can weigh-in on a potential pause on data centers in Charlotte.

City Council will hold a public hearing before it decides if a moratorium needs to be put in place. It comes as other cities across the state have taken similar measures over concerns about water usage and strain on public utilities.

The hearing will happen during Tuesday’s night’s city council meeting. It starts at 5:30 PM at the Government Center.
