CFD: House fire started from pipe soldering

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Investigators say a house fire near Matthews started accidentally.

Charlotte Fire says it broke out just before 4:30 Tuesday morning on Hinson Drive off Sardis Road North. No one was hurt.

Investigators say the fire started from pipe soldering. It caused around $200,000 in damages.
