Chesterfield County Deputies Seize Drugs, Guns, & Thousands In Cash

MCBEE, SC — Deputies with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, along with agents from SLED, seized a large amount of drugs, weapons, and cash while executing search warrants last week.

Two search warrants were executed on May 31st at homes on West Pine Avenue and East Cypress Avenue. Deputies arrested Rodney Commander and Steven Crowley, both 29, after they reportedly seized over a pound of marijuana, nine guns, and roughly $3,700 in cash.

Commander is charged with five counts each of Distributing Marijuana and Distributing Marijuana within Proximity of a School.

Crowley is charged with one count each of Distributing Marijuana, Distributing Marijuana within Proximity of a School, and Conspiracy.
