Slightly warmer Thursday with heat building this weekend

Humid air moves in Sunday

Tonight will be quiet with mostly clear skies and comfortable temperatures falling into the upper 50s and lower 60s. It will be a great night to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air.

As we head into Thursday, expect plenty of sunshine from start to finish. Temperatures will continue their climb, reaching the mid-80s during the afternoon. The warming trend doesn’t stop there.

Friday will be even warmer, and by the weekend we’ll be talking about temperatures nearing 90 degrees in many locations. Sunshine will remain the dominant weather story, making for excellent conditions for outdoor plans.

While a very isolated shower or thunderstorm may try to develop over the mountains late Sunday as a little more moisture works into the region, most communities will stay dry through the weekend. Rain chances remain minimal, and many areas may go several days without seeing a drop.

If you’ve been looking for a stretch of classic early summer weather, this forecast delivers!
