Report: Precinct in Horry Co. did not open on time for voting Tuesday morning

HORRY CO., S.C. – We’re learning more about some voting issues early Tuesday morning in Horry County.

The local Democratic party posted on social media that it is aware of reports that voters at First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach experienced delays. Reports say the church was not unlocked for election workers in time for them to set up for the polls to open at 7 AM.

The post says the issue was resolved and the precinct was ultimately opened for voting.
