Two Men Wanted After Trying To Break Into Lancaster County Home
ELGIN, SC — Lancaster County deputies are trying to identify two men they say tried to break into a home Monday morning.
The incident happened just before noon at a home on Kershaw Camden Highway/US Highway 521. Deputies responded to the home after the security alarm alerted the homeowner to a possible break in.
Officials say they found damage to the rear door under a covered patio, and were able to retrieve photos of the suspects taken by the security system.
The two men are described as dark skinned males. Officials say one was wearing a light colored hat, red shirt, and blue or gray shorts. The other was wearing a sleeveless dark shirt and dark shorts.
Deputies say they were driving a white four-door 1995-2000 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer.
