SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim and his Orange only have seven games remaining in their season, thanks to a self-imposed postseason ban instituted by the university as it awaits the results of an NCAA investigation into academic violations.

The fans are sticking by the home team despite freezing temperatures, and they’ll be out in force for Saturday night’s game against No. 4 Duke in the Carrier Dome.

The game is a sellout again for the Blue Devils and the crowd will match last year’s all-time record Carrier Dome crowd of 35,446 set against the Blue Devils.

The two winningest coaches in the history of Division I — Boeheim and Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski — square off again.
