Hot Temperatures Return Thursday, Isolated Storm Chance

Hot conditions will return to the area Thursday and linger through the upcoming weekend. Highs will soar into the mid 90s with the heat index topping out at 100° or higher each afternoon. Overnights will remain uncomfortable, lows in the 70s. Although there is a slight chance for a pop up storm each afternoon and evening, no widespread heavy rain is expected. Similar conditions are expected next week.
