ALBEMARLE, N.C. – A man has been charged in connection to a shooting along Inger Street. Albemarle Police Department officers were notified of a man armed with a gun along the 1400 block of Inger Street near the North Carolina 27 bypass.
When officers arrived, they discovered two male victims suffering from serious gunshot wound injuries. The victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. During the investigation, detectives with the Albemarle Police Department and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation discovered that the suspect knew the victims.
26-year-old Devonte Wall has been charged with two counts of 1st degree attempted murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.
