CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carolina Ascent duo Jill Aguilera and Sydney Martinez will join the Puerto Rico national team in the upcoming Central American & Caribbean games, as announced by the Puerto Rico Soccer Federation.
Puerto Rico faces Mexico on July 29th, Jamaica on July 31st and Colombia on August 1st. Augilera and Martinez return to Puerto Rico after suiting up for the team in their quest for the CONCACAF W Championship.
Defender Augilera scored nine goals in four group matches as captain and goalkeeper Martinez did not allow any goals against both St. Vincent and Grenadines.
