CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man wanted for an unprovoked attack on a 12-year-old boy at a Charlotte park has turned himself in, according to police.
Benjamin Keyser, 38, turned himself in to police Wednesday morning. He was accused of accosting a 12-year-old child at First Ward Park in Charlotte last friday.

Keyser was booked at 10:51 a.m. at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office on a Simple Assault charge.
