Monk, Hornets Open Summer League With 88-87 Win Over Thunder
LAS VEGAS, N.V. — The Charlotte Hornets started the Las Vegas Summer League off with an 88-87 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Malik Monk led the Hornets with 23 points, and scored 11 points in a row for the Hornets during one stretch of the first quarter. First-round draft pick Miles Bridges struggled offensively, making only 2 of 14 shots and scoring six points.
Second-round draft pick Devonte’ Graham showed a good feel for the game and totaled 10 points on 4-10 shooting, while adding five assists.
The Hornets next summer league game is Sunday, July 8th, at 5 p.m. The game can be seen on NBA TV.
