Man Wanted For Murdering His Father In Salisbury Arrested In Georgia

Authorities in Georgia have arrested a man wanted for murdering his father in Salisbury earlier this year.
According to the Salisbury Police Department, Juan Renaldo Chunn, 49, was arrested by the Richmond County Georgia Sheriff’s Office and is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
Chunn is charged with First Degree Murder for killing of his father, Eugene Milton Chunn, on April 19th, 2018.

SALISBURY, NC — A 49-year-old Rowan County man is wanted for the 1st Degree Murder of his father earlier this year.
On Monday, officials say the Rowan County Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment for 1st Degree Murder on Juan Renardo Chunn. Chunn is accused of killing his father, Eugene Milton Chunn.
Eugene Chunn was found dead inside his E. Franklin Street home on April 19th. Officials say he was beaten to death.
Juan Chunn is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches, and roughly 150 pounds. Police say his last known address was in Augusta, Georgia.
