CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte-based startup is aiming to simplify junk removal while creating flexible income opportnities for local pickup truck owners.

EasyGig Founder and CEO Brendan Little says the platform was inspired by his own experience hauling junk and the success of gig economy services like Uber and DoorDash.

In addition to helping homeowners and businesses clear unwanted items, EasyGig also offers a donation option through its partnership with the Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte, giving usable items a second life.
