DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson Police have arrested three men for the June 23rd murder of Jerry Kerns, Jr. of Cornelius.
Police say that Gercobe McClain, Jr., 28, Frederick Cherry, 25, and Rupen Patel, 26, have all been charged with first degree murder.
Kerns was fatally shot on the 400 block of Jetton Street in Davidson on June 23rd.
Davidson Police Chief Jeanne Miller offered thanks to those involved in the investigation, and said it was a collaborative effort by law enforcement agencies across the county and state.
