More sunshine and lower humidity Tuesday

Rain chances increase Wednesday night into Thursday

Tonight, skies will stay mostly quiet, and temperatures will settle into the upper 60s to around 70 degrees by early Tuesday morning. After the heat and mugginess we’ve dealt with lately, this is going to feel pretty nice.

Tuesday is also a much more comfortable day across the area, and that’s good news for all those kiddos heading back to school. We’ll start the morning in the 60s before temperatures climb into the mid to upper 80s during the afternoon. A few spots could still touch 90, but overall, it won’t have aoppressive feel. The lower humidity will make a noticeable differenceSunny skies will dominate the weather game Tuesday, so just grab the backpack, throw on the shorts and short sleeves, and you’re good to go kiddos!

By Wednesday, the humidity starts sneaking back in. Temperatures will climb closer to 90 degrees, and we could see a stray shower or thunderstorm pop up during the afternoon. Nothing widespread, but if you happen to catch one, it could bring a quick downpour.

Then we turn our attention to the end of the week. Rain chances will gradually increase, Thursday and Friday is looking warmer and more humidScattered thunderstorms will be possible. Stay tuned!
