Time Warner Cable Arena to Host Professional Bull Riders

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Sept. 18 and 19, the Top 35 bull riders in the world will face the sport’s toughest bulls at Time Warner Cable Arena for their share of the $140,000 total purse.

The PBR Express Employment Professionals Invitational begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, and at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19. Tickets start at $15 and go up to $299 for the PBR Elite Seats.

All Top-35 bull riders will ride one bull each in rounds 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday. After Round 2, the riders’ individual scores will be totaled and the top 15 riders from the first two rounds will advance to the Championship Round for one more ride and a shot to win the $30,000 event title.

North Carolina natives J.B. Mauney (2013 PBR World Champion), Josh Faircloth, and Gage Gay will be competing, as well as four other former World Champions.
