Greg and Kara Olsen’s non profit unveils new billboard campaign in partnership with Adams Outdoor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – You may have noticed a new billboard on I-85 on your morning or evening commute. The non profit founded by retired Carolina Panthers player Greg Olsen and his wife, Kara, launched a year-long billboard campaign this week.

The HEARTest yard was formed after Greg and Kara’s son, TJ, was born with congenital heart disease in 2012. He received a heart transplant in 2021.

Kara says, “I got pretty emotional when I saw it (the billboard featuring TJ). I think it’s just a big moment for him, a big moment seeing where he is at today.” Greg says, “We’re thankful that they were able to give us a pretty big platform, literally and figuratively to share a little bit about what we do.”

The HEARTest Yard helps other families with their own heart health journeys. The billboard campaign is in thanks to Adams Outdoor, which chose four Charlotte-area non profits for this year’s program.
