ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Rock Hill Police Department is investigating a shooting incident where one individual was transported to a local facility. The incident occurred at a residence on Cherokee Avenue near Cherry Road.
A male got into an altercation with the residents of the Cherokee Avenue home. After he refused to leave, the altercation became more physical and a resident fired gunshots that would hit the male. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
This case remains under investigation.
