NASCAR Hall of Fame unveils new Kyle Busch exhibit to honor his career and legacy
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte unveiled a brand-new exhibit Friday, celebrating the historic 25-year career and legacy of the late Kyle Busch.
The display features Busch’s number 18 Toyota Camry from his 2015 Cup Series championship season, along with multimedia highlights of his 234 wins and philanthropic work.
Hall of Fame officials partnered with Busch’s widow, Samantha Busch, to design the tribute inside the museum’s Victory Lane area. Leaders say they wanted to accurately capture his impact both on and off the racetrack. Hall of Fame Executive Director Winston Kelley says, “(Kyle’s) multifaceted and I hope folks see that, the competitor, the mentor, the philanthropist, as well as the family orientation that he genuinely had.”
The exhibit will remain open to the public for the foreseeable future. Busch was also honored Friday night with a celebration of life memorial at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
