ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A Rowan County man is facing serious charges after deputies say he sexually assaulted four children.
Deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office say they arrested Ezequiel Carvajal-Ramirez on August 25th.
Detectives say they began their investigation against Carvajal-Ramirez in February after four minors reported that he committed various sex acts on them at various ages from 8-years-old to 15-years-old. Investigators say the incidents happened over a number of years.
Carvajal-Ramirez has been charged with one count of statutory rape, three counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult and four counts of indecent liberties with a child by an adult.
He is in jail on a $500,000 bond.
