ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say they arrested a Northwestern High School student for having a loaded gun on campus.
The School Resource Officer was alerted Wednesday morning to a student having the gun, according to a news release. Rock Hill Police say the officer located a loaded 9mm handgun in the student’s bookbag.
The student has been identified as 18-year-old Tony Alexander Lopez. Police say there were no injuries and no threats were made.
