Shots Fired Into East Charlotte Apartment, 81-Year-Old Woman Struck In Leg By Bullet

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An apartment complex in east Charlotte was shot into multiple times late Tuesday.

Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 11:54 p.m. to the 1200 block of Harrill Street near E. 15th St. where one of the apartments in the complex had been shot into multiple times.

Officers spoke with an an 81-year-old woman who had been struck in the leg by one of the bullets.

Medic transported her to CMC-Main where she was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
