Wet And Windy Thursday, Beautiful Weekend Ahead
Scattered showers will transition to a moderate to heavy rain Thursday. In addition to rain, gusty winds are expected which could bring down some trees and power lines. 2-6 inches of rain is possible with localized flooding a growing threat as the day progresses, a few communities could see slightly more rain. The heaviest rain and strongest winds will be between sunrise and sunset, conditions will rapidly improve Thursday evening with mostly clear skies expected by or before midnight. Friday through the upcoming weekend look beautiful with highs in the low 70s and overnight lows in the upper 40s. In addition to cooler temperatures, low humidity and clear skies will create our first fantastic autumn weekend.
