T Shanell Designs Brings One-of-a-Kind African Apparel to The Mint Museum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Local fashion designer and stylist to the stars, Tamara Shanell, is bringing her one-of-a-kind clothing line, T Shanell Designs, to Charlotte’s  Mint Museum . T Shanell Designs will offer exclusive handmade Swing Coats, Kimono Jackets and Shirts, Kaftan Dresses, and scarves in African print at the museum’s gift shop.

T Shanell Designs  was commissioned to sell African garments as part of the museum’s new exhibit, African-Print Fashion Now! A Story of Taste, Globalization, and Style.

This is the first time in the museum’s history that it’s making clothing available in the gift shop.

T Shanell Designs apparel will be offered at both Mint Museum locations throughout April 29th, 2019.
