East Charlotte Robbery Suspect Wanted By CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are trying to identify the suspect in a strong-armed robbery reported early Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened at a business on The Plaza at Mason Circle around 2:36am. A witness reportedly told police the suspect entered the business and took the register drawer.

Police say the witness tried to stop the suspect from leaving, but failed.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, muscular build, and a faded style haircut. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and faded blue jeans.
