ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have selected Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins with the fourth pick in the NFL draft after a trade with the Cleveland Browns. The Bills moved up five spots in the deal with the Browns on Thursday.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Panthers have selected wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin from Florida State with the 28th overall pick in the NFL draft, giving them a potential long-term replacement for Steve Smith. The 6-foot-5, 241-pound Benjamin had 54 receptions for 1,011 yards and 15 touchdowns last season for the national champion Seminoles.
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have selected North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron with the No. 10 pick in the NFL draft. Detroit added Ebron on Thursday night even though it has Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria at his position.
