GASTON COUNTY, NC — Disturbing video shows two Stuart W. Cramer High School students throwing another student to the ground and punching him repeatedly.
Students tell WCCB the fight happened Tuesday in the boys locker room. The boy who recorded the video says fists started flying during a confrontation over social media posts.
“Posting stuff about the two on Snapchat, so they felt the need to confront him about it and escalated from there,” says the Stuart Cramer junior.
Police arrested Kaiser Kayton and Denorrian Lindsay, both 17-years-old, and charged them with simple assault. The high school sent a message to parents and staff saying in part:
“While we cannot discuss student discipline, please know that the school is also addressing the issue, and we have been working with the police.”
Raymond, who is a senior at Stuart Cramer and friends with Kayton and Lindsay, says that the fight is out of character for them.
“We’re all like what happened what happened, and he was like dude I messed up. They knew what they did was wrong.”
