“They’re Not Going To Get You High, But They’re Going To Make You Feel Incredible.”

CHARLOTTE, NC.–  Business is booming at Charlotte CBD–the first CBD dispensary in the Queen City.

CBD is a strain of the marijuana plant but doesn’t make you high. Charlotte CBD owner Michael Sims says every product has under 0.03% of THC–the part of the marijuana plant that gets you high.

Instead has large amounts of CBD, which Sims says is useful for treating different ailments like anxiety, pain and inflammation.

“They’re not going to get you high, but they’re going to make you feel incredible,” says Sims.

Anne Marie Wmiegh has been battling chronic pain and inflammation since April. She’s been desperate to find relief. She tried CBD oil for the first time Thursday and was blown away by the results.

“Just made me really excited and hopeful again that I’ll be able to live life normally without pain,” says Smiegh.

You have to be 18 years or older to get in the store. Once you’re in, there are shelves of edibles, oils, drinks, gummies and dog treats. Owners say all their products are tested by a third party.
