Wilson’s World: The 9th Annual Speedway Christmas Kicks Off This Sunday, November 18th
The 9th Annual Speedway Christmas runs from Sunday, November 18th through December 31st.
CONCORD, N.C. – For 8 years the Charlotte Motor Speedway has decked the halls, the track, the in-field and anything else they can as part of their Speedway Christmas. And this year is no exception! Wilson was at his home away from home this morning previewing the 9th Annual Speedway Christmas. He also had fun with kids writing their letter to Santa and listening to carols performed by the Sound Counsel Barbershop Quartet.
The ninth edition of Speedway Christmas drive-through light show features more than 3.5 million lights over a 3.75-mile course that includes most of the oval as well as the infield and the new ROVAL™!
The family-friendly Christmas Village is open Thursday-Sunday and all Christmas week (except for Christmas Day). Christmas Village includes an all-new 50ft Ferris wheel in addition to favorites like Bethlehem village, photos with Santa, fun foods, games, fire pits for s’mores roasting and more.
And again this year you can enjoy Movie Nights on the giant Speedway TV every Thursday-Sunday. Bring the family and enjoy favorite holiday movies on the giant 16,000- square foot high definition TV.
The Speedway Christmas will be open Thursday through Sundays (except for Christmas Day) until December 31st. Information including dates and hours of operation, the movie listings and ticket prices can be found on their website HERE.
