CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was shot in the leg in northwest Charlotte overnight.
Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 2:30 a.m. to Forestbrook Drive where a man had been shot in the lower leg.
After the man was struck, police say he managed to take himself to the 1700 block of J. Julian Lane where the 911 call was made.
The victim refused Medic servies and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
