GASTONIA, NC — Gaston County Police have charged a registered sex offender with possession of child pornography.
Eric Spurling, 37, is charged with six felony counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Police say the charges stem from a search back in October related to Spurling’s possible violation of the terms of his sex offender registration.
Investigators reportedly seized electronic storage devices that contained child porn images.
