LINCOLN COUNTY, NC — Lincoln County deputies have arrested a man accused of making multiple unauthorized purchases on a company credit card.
David Martin, 47, is charged with 27 felony counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. Investigators say he used a company card belonging to McHansa Trucking Company in Mount Holly to make several purchases at a Denver area auto parts store between April 2017 and December 2018.
Authorities say the purchases were discovered by the trucking company during an audit of their books. Martin was then identified as the suspect thanks to help from the parts store.
Martin has been placed under a $135,000 bond.
