CHESTER, SC — A 61-year-old woman is in custody after police say a man was found dead of gunshot wounds in her home Thursday.
Chester Police say they responded to a shooting call at a home on Starnes Street and found Gloria Waters sitting at her kitchen table. Waters was reportedly unarmed when officers arrived.
During a search of the house, police say a man was found inside one of the rooms with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Waters has been taken into custody, police say, but charges are pending until further investigation.
