3-Alarm Fire At Southeast Charlotte Business Causes Over $500,000 Dollars In Damage
CHARLOTTE, NC — Officials say an electrical issue caused a three-alarm fire Thursday night at a business in southeast Charlotte.
The fire broke out Thursday evening at Trifecta Athletics on Silabert Avenue near Commodore Street. Officials say it took roughly 60 firefighters about two hours to control the blaze.
According to the Charlotte Fire Department, the fire was caused by an electrical issue within the electrical distribution panel. Damages have been estimated at around $585,000.
Medic says one person was transported CMC with serious injuries. The nature of those injuries has not been released.
