CHARLOTTE, NC — A north Charlotte mother is facing a murder charge after police say her infant daughter was found unresponsive early Monday morning.
Raeonna Watson, 20, is charged with killing her 7-month-old daughter, Jade Williams. Police say Williams was found unresponsive around 4:55am at a home on Galena View Drive.
The infant was transported to Atrium Health, but pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police have not released any further details on how the infant died.
Watson is charged with First Degree Murder.
