Watch: CMPD Trying To Identify Armed Robbery Suspect Caught On Camera
CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are trying to identify a man accused of armed robbery on January 23rd.
The victim told police the suspect was wearing an orange vest and holding a clipboard when he knocked on the door around 1:34pm Wednesday. When the victim opened the door, police say the suspect pulled a gun and forced his way into the home.
The suspect reportedly robbed the victim and residence before taking off.
Police have released the following video surveillance of the suspect:
Police say the suspect is a black male, around 6 feet 4 inches tall and in his late 30’s to early 40’s. The suspect was last seen wearing an orange safety vest over a black jacket, with torn jeans and a red hat.
