Man Wanted For Threatening Rowan County Judge

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office says Keng Vang is wanted for threatening the life of Rowan County Chief District Court Judge Charlie Brown.

Authorities say Vang, 37, has made numerous threatening posts to social media, and expressed discontent with law enforcement, DSS, and the judicial system since he was charged with child abuse and resisting arrest in 2018.

Vang specifically threatened to hang Judge Brown, and is now wanted for Felony Threatening a Court Officer.  He previously resided in Rowan County; however, he is believed to have been living in Mecklenburg or Anson County, according to officials.
