Wilson’s World: Bringing out the ‘Claws’ at SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium

CONCORD, N. C. –  SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium may be user friendly for kids, but maybe not so much when it comes to Wilson.  He was at the aquarium this morning exploring the new exhibits at the aquarium when he was allowed to use a knife to help prepare breakfast for Larry the Lobster.  Maybe not the best idea.

One of the new exhibits at the aquarium that Wilson checked out is “Claws.”  Larry the Lobster is just one of the crustaceans included in the exhibit.  Visitors can learn about crustacean’s habitats, learn crazy crabby facts, and much more. They will also come face-to-face with Crabzilla- the Japanese Spider Crab.  The aquarium’s ‘Crustacean Celebration’ will run through April 28th and will include a variety of limited time talks, programs, and activities.

Looking for a fun, but educational day trip during spring break?  Open 7 days a week, the SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium in Concord Mills is the perfect place.  For additional information on hours, current exhibits, directions and events refer to their website at visitsealife.com/charlotte-concord.
