25% of Americans Admit To Snooping On Their Partner’s Finances

Around 25% of Americans now admit to snooping on their’s significant other’s spending.
That’s according to a new survey by AreaVibes, an apartment listing website.

More than half say they secretly logged into their partner’s bank accounts online.
Fewer people admitted to sneaking a peek at their partner’s bank statement, but some went as far as using a secret app to keep tabs on their significant other’s finances.

Their reasons for snooping?
Most said they wanted to make sure their partner isn’t overspending.
While nearly a quarter said they were just curious.
Around 9% wanted to make sure their partner was fixing their bad credit score and 7% said they were suspicious their partner was cheating on them.
