GASTONIA, NC — Gastonia Police are trying to find the man they say tried to hit a medical responder with his Jeep on May 13th.
The incident happened in the Pizza Hut parking lot on S. Chester Street. Police say Darrin Abernathy, 25, tried to hit a member of the Dallas Rescue Squad with his Jeep.
The responder was reportedly approaching the vehicle to try and help an unconscious passenger inside.
Abernathy is wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Medical Person.
