CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has charged two suspects in connection to several cases involving furniture being stolen from front porches.
Stephen Thomas, 34, and Joanna Olivieri, 50, are both facing multiple charges. Police say they identified Thomas and Olivieri using video surveillance captured during one of the reported crimes.
Officers have managed to recover a large portion of the stolen property, and are working to return it to the rightful owners.
Thomas is charged with two counts of felony possession of stolen property, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession of stolen property.
Olivieri is charged with misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession of stolen property.
CMPD says they are actively investigating additional cases and expect more charges to be filed against the suspects.
