Man Shot In North Charlotte, Woman In Custody

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say one woman is now in custody after a man was shot in north Charlotte Tuesday night.

The shooting happened outside a home on Hosta Drive near Gibbon Road around 7:30 p.m. Police say a man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A woman who reportedly has some sort of relationship with the victim has been taken into custody. Investigators say they are still trying to determine what their relationship is.

CMPD says two townhomes were also hit during the shooting. People were inside at the time, but no one was injured.

Police are not looking for any other suspects.
