MONROE, N.C. — Officials say a student brought a gun on the Monroe High School campus Tuesday morning.
According to Union County Public Schools, there were no threats or injuries to students.
Administrators immediately notified authorities of the situation and the student was taken into custody by the Monroe Police Department.
Authorities have not identified the student.
