ROCK HILL, SC — The Rock Hill Police Department says a suspect wanted on several outstanding warrants is in custody after barricading himself inside a home Tuesday afternoon.
Police say officers with RHPD and agents with the US Marshals Service were attempting to serve multiple arrest warrants on Godseen Williams when he barricaded himself inside a Marion Street home around 2:37pm.
Williams, 22, reportedly surrendered around 3pm after authorities deployed tear gas into the home.
The following arrest warrants were served on Williams following his arrest:
- Assault on a Police Officer While Resisting Arrest
- Resisting Arrest with a Deadly Weapon
- Possession of Firearm by Convicted Violent Felon
- Possession of a Stolen Pistol
- Carrying a Pistol Unlawfully
- Leaving the Scene of an Accident
- Damage to City Property
- 2 counts of Armed Robbery
- Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon
- Criminal Conspiracy
- Assault and Battery 3 rd degree
