CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An empty retail space in Uptown is getting remade into a pop-up art gallery.
The concept is called “artscape 525”. Parkway Properties and Charlotte Center City Partners teamed up for a unique partnership. The site is within the North Tryon corridor and near several other cultural institutions.
Center City Partners Director of Communication, Leila King, says they’re looking to bring the art to the people and have the opportunity to get to know local artists.
The pop-up gallery has its grand opening March 5. Parking will be available in the 525 parking deck, which can be accessed from 9th Street.
